Terms of service
These terms govern use of the Shamba Diaspora website and buyer platform during pre-launch and early project phases.
Platform nature
Shamba Diaspora is a technology-enabled land acquisition platform for Kenyans abroad. It facilitates structured project participation, verification visibility, payment tracking, and title-processing updates. It is not a speculative investment scheme or guaranteed-return product.
Pre-launch status
Some features — including live payments and final legal agreements — may be in preview or waitlist mode. Marketing pages may show example data until Project 001 onboarding is fully live.
Commitments and payments
Commitment amounts, refund rules, quorum deadlines, and default treatment will be defined in project-specific terms shown before any payment. Do not treat waitlist registration as acreage reservation until confirmed in your account.
Buyer responsibilities

- —Maintain payment records and respond to required notices
- —Seek independent legal advice before signing property instruments
Disputes
