These terms govern use of the Shamba Diaspora website and buyer platform.
Platform nature
Shamba Diaspora is a technology-enabled land acquisition platform for Kenyans abroad. It facilitates structured project participation, verification visibility, payment tracking, and title-processing updates. It is not a speculative investment scheme or guaranteed-return product.
Project terms
Payments, commitments, and buyer agreements are defined in the project-specific terms shown before any payment. Waitlist registration records interest. Acreage is reserved when you commit through your account.
Commitments and payments
The project commitment is a non-refundable entry payment. It reserves your selected acreage while quorum builds. It is not subtracted from the land purchase price (acres × price per acre). Instalments after activation reduce that principal. Refund rules, quorum deadlines, and default treatment are defined in project-specific terms shown before any payment. Waitlist registration is not an acreage reservation.
Buyer responsibilities

Disputes
