Paying for Kenyan land from Qatar or Saudi Arabia
Doha na Riyadh — kumbukumbu ya KSh, si ya bahati
Your land allocation will be recorded in Kenyan shillings. How you fund it from QAR or SAR is a logistics question. Who you pay is a fraud question. Never mix them up.
KSh is the record
Project 001 allocations, balances, and receipts are designed around Kenyan shillings. Exchange rates move. Scammers love confusion. Your dashboard should always answer: how much KSh is allocated, paid, and remaining.
If someone quotes only riyals or riyals ‘equivalent’ without a KSh ledger, you do not have a land file. You have a chat.
Official instructions only
At activation, Shamba will publish how diaspora buyers should fund. Until then, waitlist is interest — no one should collect a ‘holding deposit’ into a cousin’s account in Doha or Riyadh using our name.
Ikiwa umetumwa lipa sasa kwa namba ya mtu, stop and message hello@shambadiaspora.com or the official WhatsApp on this site.
Contracts, leave, and finishing on time
Gulf contracts end. Ask what happens if you relocate before the project period finishes. That answer belongs in written terms, not optimism. Saudi and Qatar buyers should ask it before commitment, not after a plane ticket home.
Family in Kenya paying a portion
Help from home is common. References must be unique so money lands on the correct allocation. Do not invent a process in a family group. Wait for platform payment references.
Payment rails are confirmed at project activation. This guide is educational and does not constitute financial or legal advice.
